'Past industrial landscapes have always drawn my attention and those of West Penwith particularly so.    I have worked to interpret what I see and seek out the hidden history held within.
Shadows and echoes of man’s connections with the land are all around us and I attempt to weave these into my work, endeavouring to suggest atmospheres of previous times.
My connections to cloth and yarn began as a child playing with scraps and samples leftover from family ‘makes’.  Now I combine new and old cloth and yarn with other mixed media to create a variety of 2 and 3 dimensional pieces
Together with Pat Furley we form the raveled sleave, and work primarily from our studio in Treen Chapel, St Levan.
